Dancing To Her Own Beat

I had the privilege of meeting Tori on the hematopoietic stem cell transplant unit at Children’s Hospital Boston in April of 2005.  She came to us for treatment of Hodgkin’s lymphoma that had relapsed despite aggressive chemotherapy.  Tori underwent an autologous stem cell transplant and was out of the hospital and back home in a little over a month.  She is back at school, and is once again involved in her true passion - competitive hip-hop dancing!  This remarkable young woman never once complained and never once gave up hope.  We look forward to following her as long-term survivor for many years to come!

I am so proud to be able to have Tori as a part of this incredible team of patients.  Please make a donation to the Pan-Mass Challenge in honor of Tori’s fight against Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
